How it Began

What’s Up Pup was formed in May of 2021 by owner/stylist Chassidy Sisco. After spending 10 years as a pet stylist (almost 4 of which as a mobile stylist) she decided to take the leap and start her own business. Chassidy learned to groom in 2011 through an apprenticeship and was later certified to groom dogs and cats after many technical exams. She decided to start a mobile business after finding the value in the mobile setting. As contrast to brick and mortar salons mobile grooming offers a cageless one on one environment that’s more laid back and relaxing for pets. She wanted to offer a service where she could bring the grooming experience straight to her clients home as way of ease and comfort for pets and their parents. She also wanted to offer a grooming service that would lower her carbon footprint. She chose to purchase a grooming van and products that are designed to be eco friendly.
